Abstract
A 17-year-old girl was presented with bilateral progressive visual disturbances for 3 years. Brain MRI showed enhancement of bilateral optic nerves and multifocal white matter lesions suggestive of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis. In addition, we could detect the increased serum level of anti-mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody (1:160). After the treatment of corticosteroids, her visual loss and discomfort had improved by the time and the multiple lesions disappeared on follow-up MRI.
